7 new pages!!!

finally, jesus, took a while but heres the next 7 pages of the comic. Honestly will be done shortly. I just want to get it outta the way, I got other comics up in this head of mine I need to get out. So this batch looks a lil different, I started inking with the brush pen exclusively. Gotta tell ya, its the way to go. Aight, hope ya dont hate these pages.

Dan DeCarlo Homage!!

Dan DeCarlo was one of the most influential Archie comic artists of all time. Recently have been exposed to his work and last night did an homage watercolour painting to his amazing cover work. This is on 12x16 water colour paper, I rarely work this big, had to scan it in four pieces, thats why it looks slightly disjointed.

Spider Man kicks ass. Sadly Ultimate Spider-Man is just about the only good spiderman out there. Anyways, I dont do too much watercolouring but I love it when I do. Its a lot of fun to throw down some colour here and there.

24 Hour Comic Concepts

Oh this shit is gonna be the biz. Im really excited to take part in my third 24 hour comic challenge. I came up with my concept recently and Im in love with my idea. Im really looking forward to oct 20th and getting it down on paper. You guys will all be seeing the new 24 hour comic as soon as Im done! I saw a thing on http://www.drawn.ca/ where this dude did a ink wash parade. THen yesterday I saw Paprica http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/paprika/trailer/ yestarday where parades are featured prominently. So I guess I got em on my head. Anyways.

King Conan

Conan's my boy! So I did this last week and am pretty happy with how it turned out. I keep meaning to put a bg into this one but as more and more time goes by Im getting kinda scared to add one in. Anyways here it is all scanned in. I think now that I have it in this form I'll be ok laying in a bg. anyways...
I hope one day they make the king conan film and Arnold stars in it! It would be wicked! If not I can make do with the current Conan comic. Cary Nord whos a canadian boy does the art. Hes the shizzle.
